The Porsche 997 is a popular 911 generation to modify, and the choices can be confusing: GT3, GT3 RS, Turbo, GT2, ducktail. Which front bumper, rear wing and front spoiler fit your car, and what are they made of? This guide organizes our 997 range by part, model and material.

Quick answer: The biggest 997 changes are a GT3 / GT3 RS style front bumper and a rear wing. Check the model (Carrera, Turbo or GT3), the 997.1 or 997.2 year range, and the material (real carbon fiber or FRP) before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the 997.1 and 997.2?

The 997.1 covers the 2005–2008 model years and the 997.2 covers 2009–2012. Our front bumper conversions are listed for 2005–2012, our Carrera Euro style front spoilers for 2005–2008, and one GT3 RS wing is listed for both 997 and 997.2, so check each page.

What is the difference between a GT3 style and GT3 RS style front bumper?

Both replace the Carrera front bumper. The GT3 style bumper copies the 997 GT3 front end and the GT3 RS style bumper copies the more aggressive GT3 RS design. We also offer a 997 to 991 GT3 style front bumper conversion for owners who want the newer 991 look.

Are 997 rear wings carbon fiber or FRP?

It depends on the model. The GT3 RS wing, ducktail wing and Turbo wing are listed as real carbon fiber, the 997 GT3 decklid and wing is offered in FRP or carbon fiber, and the Turbo GT2 wing is FRP. Always check the material on the product page.

Which 997 upgrade changes the look the most?

A GT3 or GT3 RS style front bumper changes the front end the most, and a rear wing changes the rear profile the most. A carbon fiber front spoiler is the simpler option if you want to keep the stock bumper.

Do you have parts for the 996?

Yes, the 996 collection includes a carbon fiber 996 Turbo rear wing spoiler. Our collection is smaller than the 997 range, so contact us if you need something specific.

Will a front spoiler scrape on driveways?

Any front spoiler lowers the front-most point of the car. A front bumper lip scrape guard is a low-cost way to protect it.
