The BMW E60 M5 and E63 M6 are popular cars to build on, and owners of standard E60 5 Series and E63 6 Series cars often want the same look. This guide covers carbon fiber upgrades and M5 style conversion parts we offer for both cars, with the material for each part so you know exactly what you are buying.

Quick answer: For the E60, common upgrades are the M5 style front bumper, carbon fiber front spoiler, carbon fiber side skirts, rear diffuser and GTR style carbon fiber hood. For the E63 / E64, they are the carbon fiber front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser and trunk spoiler for your pre-facelift or facelift car.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does M5 style mean on an E60 5 Series?

It means the part copies the E60 M5 look, such as the M5 style front bumper, rear bumper, fenders and side skirts. These fit the regular E60 5 Series so it can look like an M5, but they are not factory M5 parts.

What is the difference between an M5 style and M Sport style bumper?

The M5 style bumper copies the E60 M5 front end. The M Sport style bumper copies the factory M Sport front end. Both are full replacement bumpers for the 2004–2010 E60 5 Series, so choose the look you want.

Are the E60 body parts carbon fiber?

Not all of them. The M5 style side skirts and rear bumpers are made from durable polypropylene and the M5 style fenders are metal, so check the material on each product page. Our carbon fiber options include front spoilers, side skirts, rear diffuser, trunk spoiler, hood and mirror covers.

Do E63 trunk spoilers fit both pre-facelift and facelift cars?

No. We list a separate carbon fiber trunk spoiler for the pre-facelift E63 and for the facelift E63, so match the one for your car.

Do the mirror covers fit both the E60 and E63?

There are covers listed for the E60 M5, for the E63 / E64 M6 and a shared E60 / E63 / E64 set. Check the title for your car.

Where can I check BMW chassis codes?

Our BMW Chassis Code Guide lists every E, F and G series chassis with model years.
